Biomass Boilers – Residential

Residential Biomass Heating Boilers for Homes

Environmental energies have fitted biomass boilers to 100’s of homes. We advise you from the choosing your boiler, right through to the grants available and commissioning and using your boiler. Biomass has always been an eco friendly and cost effective source of heat made even more so by the new domestic heat incentive RHI paid by the government, from April 2014.

savings through biomassThe government pay the Renewable Heat Incentive Tariff for the use of all Biomass in the home.

The index linked guaranteed tariff is paid for 7 years. The pay back on your initial investment is now normally less than 4 years.

If you are currently heating using oil, LPG or electricity; biomass heating is a very good financial alternative, with savings derived from the actual fuel costs and the RHI payments.

For home use the recommended biomass fuel is wood and this can come in the form of pellets, logs and chips.

We supply and fit Herz and ETA boilers, which are manufactured in Austria and Germany. Both these suppliers have been manufacturing boilers and installing them successfully for many users.

Theses advanced domestic biomass boilers are fully automatic, regulating the volume of fuel and air that is supplied to the combustion chamber.

The wood pellet boilers receive an automatic feed of pellets meaning minimum intervention is required.

Pellets can be stalled above or below ground depending on the space you have available.

Biomass boilers can be easily connected to your existing hot water distributed heating system.
We can use your existing flue, or fit a new one that must be 1 metre above your roofline.
The storage hopper for your wood pellets can be fitted inside or outside of your property either above or below ground.

We have fully qualified engineers that can check your existing system for suitability and make sure that your system meets all the necessary noise, heat and ventilation requirements.
